I have an algorithm for calculating whether a player's hand holds a straight in Texas Hold'em. Each card is ranked from highest to lowest, that is from A,K,Q,J,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3, and 2. The best Straight is the ace-high straight – also known as “Broadway”.
